In-Akustik Great Cover Versions Direct To Tape MasterTape 38 см/sec

This Mastertape Selection from in-akustik has been compiled with attention to musical detail. The new high-definition mastering process "RESO Mastering" provides significant acoustic improvements in the areas of transparency, dynamics, bass reproduction and depth. The music gets more atmosphere and emotion.
The transfer of the tapes to the professional tape type "Recording The Masters SM 468" is done via calibrated and carefully maintained studio tape machines of the type Studer A 80 (38 cm/sec) and Telefunken M 15/21 (19 cm/sec) directly from the original master. Each tape is individually produced directly and without any detour: Haute Couture for the ears, real master quality.
Each tape was, of course, dubbed directly and monitored throughout the dubbing duration. We decided to transfer the tapes with a technique at the recording head that allows absolutely distortion-free higher levels than usual. This means for the vast majority of tape recorders: our master tape achieves interference levels that they could never realize with their own tape recorders! All tapes are carefully distorted to 0 dB, even if the VU meters of other tape machines should show an overload.
The 19 cm/sec version has been given a "blue and white" leader tape, the 38 cm/sec an equally professional "red and white" one. Both variants also a yellow guy tape. As is customary in archiving, we hand over the tape in such a way that it must be rewound for listening. This is the only way to guarantee that it will be finely rewound and returned to the box after listening.
The scope of delivery of the version with 19 cm/second includes a tape on 26 metal reel plus empty reel. So that the original master tapes are and remain unmistakable, each coil is lasered accordingly.
