Itzhak Perlman, Andre Previn & London Symphony Orchestra Mendelssohn & Bruch: Violin Concertos XRCD24
XRCD24 24bit Super Analog!
Mastered Using K2 Technology!
Iconic violinist Izhak Perlman is joined by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andre Previn for this recording of concertos by Mendelssohn and Bruch.
André Previn met with reservations when he was elected chief conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra in 1968, but it proved to be a stroke of luck for the renowned British. He held the position for eleven years, longer than anyone before him, and he is still associated with the orchestra today as "Conductor Laureate". It was during this period that he recorded Mendelsohn's and Bruch's violin concertos with Itzhak Perlman.
Kazuo Kiuchi of Combak Corporation is now releasing this superb recording from the legendary Studio 1 in London's Abbey Road in 1972 as XRCD24. The remastering of the tapes using K2 technology was done by Tohru Kotetsu at JVC Mastering Studios.
