Cellist Mstislav Rostropovich and pianist Benjamin Britten perform Schubert's Sonata for Arpeggione and Piano in A minor, D. 821, Schumann's Fünf Stücke im Volkston, Op. 102, and Debussy's Sonata for Violoncello and Piano in D minor. Recorded at "The Maltings," Concert Hall, Snape, on July 22-27,1968 (Schubert) and the Kingsway Hall, London, on July 19-21, 1961 (Schumann, Debussy).
