Norah Jones Not Too Late SHM-SACD

The third Norah Jones album from 2007 was a step backwards. Not musically or even sonically, but a step away from mass market sales and worldwide fame. Norah Jones no longer sounds like a remnant of the 70s, but allows herself to simply be unwieldy with self-written songs and jumps between intimate arrangements and complete band accompaniment. While every single song is interesting in its own right, the album seems like an oversized demo tape in the eyes of the critics, on which someone shows what he can actually do.
Despite the less commercial nature of the album, there is also a radio hit here with "The Sun Doesn't Like You". Musically, it's almost difficult to describe it as pop music, because the musical jumps, in which the full band swings from jazz to country, which is then followed by a very subtle song with a minimal line-up, are bigger than you might expect from a pop album. Despite this bulkiness, Norah Jones was very satisfied with her development on this album, away from the performer of a work to an artist who lives out her own thoughts.
This title is an SHM-SACD. This format is a further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). It achieves a much better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal's SHM SACDs are generally re-digitized from the albums' master tapes to DSD without any changes. SHM SACDs can be played on any SACD player. Please do not use L'Art du Son or alcohol-based cleaning products. – Attention: All tracks are designed by Universal Music as collector's items in limited edition for the Japanese market.
