Norah Jones The Fall SHM-SACD

In November 2009, "The Fall" was released and the world had expected another Norah Jones album full of cuddly jazz at Christmas time. She was completely wrong. Jones skillfully emancipates himself from this genre and offers 13 self-composed songs with much more modern sounds. There is a beat, electric guitars and an electric Wurlitzer piano. What has not changed, however, is Jones' unaltered ingratiating voice and her ability to shape musical image. Not a rock album, but a step out of a predefined genre - and highly praised by the critics.
This title is an SHM-SACD. This format is a further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). It achieves a much better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal's SHM SACDs are generally re-digitized from the albums' master tapes to DSD without any changes. SHM SACDs can be played on any SACD player. Please do not use L'Art du Son or alcohol-based cleaning products. – Attention: All tracks are designed by Universal Music as collector's items in limited edition for the Japanese market.
