Norah Jones Covers SHM-SACD

The album "Covers" was released in January 2013 exclusively in the American Target markets. In other countries, it was previously released either as a bonus disc of a Norah Jones album box set and only in Japan as a separate release. In keeping with the title, "Covers" collects various cover versions that the American cuddly jazz musician has recorded over the years.
Titles by Wilco, Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and other pop and jazz greats can be heard. Horace Silver. "Covers" doesn't contain any big surprises, but it shows Jones' first-class taste.
This title is an SHM-SACD. This format is a further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). It achieves a much better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal's SHM SACDs are generally re-digitized from the albums' master tapes to DSD without any changes. SHM SACDs can be played on any SACD player. Please do not use L'Art du Son or alcohol-based cleaning products. – Attention: All tracks are designed by Universal Music as collector's items in limited edition for the Japanese market.
