John Williams' first visit to Japan in 30 years on the occasion of the "Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival" in 2023 is immortalized in sound and image in this recording. The world-renowned composer and producer, who has become a master of film music since the 1970s, will present titles from Harry Potter, E.T., Schindler's List, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and other classics together with Stéphane Denève and the Saito Kinen Orchestra. The concert took place in Tokyo's "Suntory Hall".
The limited first edition as a double hybrid SACD with Blu-ray contains interviews with Williams and Denève, among others.
