Norah Jones Day Breaks SHM-SACD

On her sixth Blue Note album "Day Breaks", Norah Jones plays eight original or co-compositions and three cover tracks with drummer Brian Blade, organist Lonnie Smith and saxophonist Wayne Shorter. Their goal was to return to the sound of their debut album "Come Away With Me" from 2002.
Jones' singing voice is in the foreground on this album. Accompanied by airy, almost delicate arrangements, the multi-Grammy-winning jazz musician presents twelve gentle beauties of sound that shine powerfully in their simplicity. She succeeds in creating an album with strong jazz influences, which at the same time offers wonderful pop music. Relaxed, charming, captivating: "Day Breaks" fits into any music collection.
This title is an SHM-SACD. This format is a further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). It achieves a much better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal's SHM SACDs are generally re-digitized from the albums' master tapes to DSD without any changes. SHM SACDs can be played on any SACD player. Please do not use L'Art du Son or alcohol-based cleaning products. – Attention: All tracks are designed by Universal Music as collector's items in limited edition for the Japanese market.
