Bill Evans Trio You Must Believe In Spring SHM-SACD

Two movie themes can be found on these recordings from 1977: The title track "You Must Believe in Spring" penned by Michel Legrand for the film "Les Demoiselles de Rochefort" and the well-known series melody "Theme From M*A*S*H (Suicide Is Painless)". Released posthumously in 1981, a year after Bill Evan's death, this album with its melancholic atmosphere is one of his most poignant works for many fans.
The three-day recording with producer Tommy LiPuma (who also worked with Barbra Streisand and George Benson, among others) took place at Capitol Studios in Hollywood.
This title is a SHM-SACD. This format is the further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). It achieves a significantly better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal's SHM-SACDs are generally re-digitized from the master tapes of the albums to DSD without any changes. SHM-SACDs can be played on any SACD player. Please do not use L'Art du Son or alcohol-based cleaning products. – Attention: All tracks are designed by Universal Music as limited edition collectibles for the Japanese market.
