From these songs, melodies, chord progressions, rhythms, song structures or even sketches of musical arrangements, it becomes clear what a significant influence he had on the German guitar scene. Everything that made him who he was, his groove, his virtuoso playing technique, his smoky singing, his broad repertoire, his inimitable thumb and his distinctive triplet runs, we find all this in its purest form on this CD.
All in all, a fascinating CD that is incredibly fun and takes you back to the time and atmosphere of the 70s and 80s without any nostalgia feelings.
