Double CD consisting of the Reference Recordings releases RR-013 – Popular Masterworks of the Baroque - and RR-023 – Bach/Vivaldi. On the first CD, Canada's finest baroque orchestra plays pieces on original instruments. Pacheibel's canon was recorded in the original instrumentation intended by the composer. The second CD presents the violinists Jaap Schroeder, Stanley Ritchie and Linda Quan.
