"Collected" is a collection of the best songs of the band Status Quo, released in 2018. It includes both studio recordings and live performances by the band. All the material has been selected to reflect the evolution of the band and its contribution to music. Among the popular songs in the collection are: "Pictures Of Matchstick Men", "Down Down" and "Rockin' All Over The World".
The Collected edition is presented on double 180-gram audiophile black vinyl and includes a 4-page booklet.
The English band Status Quo, formed in 1962, has managed to combine such styles as boogie-woogie, R&B and rock'n'roll in their music. The band's history began with the beat group The Spectres, featuring Francis Rossi (guitar, vocals) and Alan Lancaster (bass), who were joined by Rick Parfitt in late 1967. The mid-70s was the most successful period in Status Quo's career. Each of the albums of that time was present in the top 5. The worldwide circulation of all Status Quo records was more than 118 million. The musicians performed 106 times in the TV program "Top Of The Pops", which is a record. In terms of the number of hit albums, Status Quo is second only to the Rolling Stones.
