Rival Sons Feral Roots (2 LP)

"Feral Roots" is the sixth studio album of 2019 on double vinyl in gatefold by the popular blues rock band from Los Angeles Rival Sons.
The album by the Californian rockers was recorded at studios in Nashville and Alabama with the famous producer Dave Cobb, winner of several awards, including two Grammy Awards for producing in the categories Best Country Album and Best Americana Album. The album cover was created by renowned contemporary artist Martin Wittfoot, whose main focus is the fantastic depiction of animals in a post-apocalyptic environment.
Rival Sons was founded in 2009 by Scott Holliday, who, after leaving his previous musical group Black Summer Crush, teamed up with former members of that group - Michael Miley and Robin Everhart. Holliday's friend Jay Buchanan got the role of vocalist. Robin left the band in 2013, and Dave Bestie plays bass guitar now. The band has released five studio albums to date, and on July 12, 2016, the band performed in Moscow, at the Olympic Park, as an opening act for Black Sabbath during their farewell tour The End.
