The recording of Harry Belafonte's performance at New York's Carnegie Hall in 1959 is undoubtedly a classic that belongs in every well-stocked audiophile collection. Together with his band and a 47-piece orchestra, Belafonte succeeded in captivating the audience in the long term - and this is still possible more than 60 years later in his own living room, fans and audiophiles agree. In addition to a varied and humorous show, the great recording quality is highly praised to this day.
