On her 2013 album Tales From The Treetops, Canadian jazz singer Anne Bisson collaborated with cellist Vincent Bélanger. Bélanger studied at the conservatories of Québec, Canada, and Montpellier, France, and later attended master classes with Yvan Chiffoleau and Yo-Yo Ma.
The album features compositions by Bélanger and Bisson, as well as music by Sylvie Massicote, Pierre Lenoir, Fung Sou and David Chesky. The styles range from Chinese music - sung in Mandarin - to jazz and Latin to bossa nova.
Multi-talented pianist and vocalist Anne Bisson and cellist Vincent Bélanger collaborate for an album of musical Conversations.
