Veronika Morscher Blooming

Veronika Morscher's eagerly awaited album "Blooming" is her second album, which consists exclusively of her own compositions and proves her lyrical talent. In collaboration with renowned talents such as British keyboardist Kit Downes, guitarist Hanno Busch, German Jazz Award-nominated bassist Lisa Hoppe, and renowned drummer Amir Bresler, Morscher creates an immersive musical experience.
Morscher's awards include the 2017 Culture Award in the category Jazz in Austria, the Bonn Jazz Prize 2019 and a nomination for the German Jazz Prize 2023 in the category "Best Vocal Jazz Album of the Year" for her most recent collaboration "Tales From the Wooden Kingdom". Her latest work is a testament to her delicate yet profound songwriting, where each track showcases her unique vocal technique and lets her dream ensemble shine.
"Blooming" was recorded completely analogue and captures the essence of the live performances in the studio. With great attention to detail, the album was recorded on 2" tape and mixed on a Studer A80 1/2" tape machine with 30ips. The result is 37 minutes of pure musical enjoyment. Like all LowSwing recordings, it's further proof of the label's commitment to preserving the warmth and authenticity of the analog sound from the heart of Berlin.
