Eddie Higgins and his trio (which includes Sean Smith on bass and Joe Ascione on drums) have complied an album of jazz favorites including Cole Porter's "Begin the Benguine" and Jacob Gade's "Jalousie."
His continuous releases on the Japanese jazz label Venus Records have brought the American pianist Eddie Higgins great popularity in the scene. On "Amor" he plays in a trio with Sean Smith on bass and Joe Ascione on drums.
Venus LPs are pressed only once. After the first edition has been sold, the titles will be deleted from the catalogue. Collectors should therefore consider a purchase in good time.
