Peter, Paul & Mary Peter, Paul & Mary (2 LP)
Mary Travers, Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow formed the most successful folk trio of their time in the 1960s. Their music was a clear statement against social injustice and for peace. Together with Martin Luther King, they protested in front of the Congress in Washington in 1963 for work and freedom. Peter, Paul & Mary produced catchy tunes, mostly carefree nature, in a mixture of folk, nursery rhyme and sometimes gospel. The happy Lemon Tree , the serious If I Had a Hammer and of course Pete Seegers Where Have All the Flowers Gone are common music today.
The remastering for ORG was done by Bernie Grundman. The 180g vinyl 45s double LP appears in a high quality gatefold cover with consecutive serial number in a limited edition.
