Jazz on Vinyl is the project of the busy label owner Dominique Klatte. Since 2017, the dedicated sound engineer has published purely analog jazz albums without any digital technology in the signal path. Always looking for the optimal analog sound experience and with attention to detail, Klatte produces recordings that score very vividly and do not compromise from an audiophile point of view. A parish hall, living room or the library in his hometown Erding also serve as recording locations.
The record magazine MINT reviewed the first title of the series, Jazz on Vinyl Vol. 1, Direct: "if test balloon conveys Vol. 1 over a long distance: the vinyl is well processed, the sound is clear, dynamic and probably close to a live performance in the middle of the room."
