Dominique Klatte produces with his label Jazz on Vinyl recordings in flawless analog technology, which he realizes mobile in different rooms. The fourth track in his series features a mix of Jungle Swing, Gypsy Jazz and Klezmer. In addition to the Band Fainschmitz from Vienna, the Trio Allègresse from Augsburg and the Duo BÖF (Bavarian and Austrian fine sound) plays. For the recordings Dominique Klatte chose a large reverberating Parish Hall, an old print shop with crisp, direct reverberation and a Hall of a music school with rather soft reverberation.
The entire production, from the microphone technology to the master tape, was created in Stereo with a Studer A807, a quarter-inch tape machine. In principle, sound editing takes place directly on the master tape with scissors and razor blade. Subsequent room corrections are taboo, Overdubs as well and also a final Mastering does not take place. Without AD / DA Transfer to the cutting machine, qualitatively outstanding records are created, which the music brings "live on tape".
Die LP with 33 rpm occurs pressed on 180-gram Vinyl and is produced in an edition of 1,000 copies. All are numbered by Hand.

Sound tip
Another highlight is the guitarist Reimo Oberth with the Gipsy Flamenco solo number "Le Vieux Tzigane". All this sounds sensational, Thorsten Schiffner cut with full dynamics, my 45 pressed excellently. - Lothar Brandt, AUDIO, issue 2/2021
Finest sound food without artificial Spotlights and with maximum naturalness in all matters. - Michael Bruss, LP, issue 2/2021
In addition to their musical requirements, the selection appears as compiled for teaching purposes for aspiring sound engineers. Motto: that's how it must sound! A real audiophile pleasure and great opportunity to adjust his hearing. - Matthias Böde, STEREO, issue 1/2021
Acoustically excellent recording locations such as the almost legendary Pfarrsaal in Erding belong to the very distinctive sound of Jazz on Vinyl. Klatte has recorded the pieces as always on the highest quality Equipment [...]. The sound quality is therefore sensational. Thorsten Scheffner made the cut on a Neumann VMS 70 with really wide dynamics, and the pressing of My 45 took place at a similarly high level. - Lothar Brandt, MINT, issue 1/2021
What a blessing for real Fans of analog recording technology are the productions of Diminique Klatte! Mercilessly direct, just as music is originally, so the recording is pressed on Vinyl and thus secured. Great compliment! - Alexander ash Brunner, hifi-stars issue 49/2020
