Ruggiero Ricci, Sargent & London Symphony Orchestra Tchaikovsky & Dvorak Violin Concertos (2 LP)

With his usual technical brilliance, Ruggiero Ricci presents two wonderful violin concertos: Tchaikovsky's "Violin Concerto In D Major, Op. 35" and Dvořák's "Violin Concerto In A Minor, Op. 53". He is accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sir Malcolm Sargent, and the recordings took place in 1961 at London's Kingsway Hall. The remastering for this audiophile release was done by John Webber at Air Studios in London.
