True original master tape used for the first time (unlike previous versions done by the Divox, Cisco and Silk Road labels).
The Four Seasons are probably among the most frequently recorded classical works and this recording from 1992 has already been published several times. First as CD on the Swiss Divox label, then on LP with Cisco Music in the USA, then with First Impression Music on hybrid SACD, then as a newly mastered LP with Direct Metal Mastering by Pauler Acoustics in Germany for Silk Road Music in Hong Kong. But anyone who now believes that the album is really no longer further developed is deceived. This variant of AudioNautes in Italy was brought by old master Stan Ricker in California in the half-speed mastering process without any form of compression on two 45 LPs. The master tape was used and the cut lacquer matrices were sent to Germany for production on 180g vinyl.
If you think this is a bit exaggerated, let me tell you that it will get worse. This LP can only be about the love of the thing and in fact it sounds not only more sublime, but also more haunting and simply beautiful than all previous editions. - A warning is still allowed. Only perfectly adjusted turntables will be able to scan this album well and please pay attention to the antiskating!
The picture was taken in the church of San Martino in Treviso, Italy. You can hear the musicians of the cheerful Marca (Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca), a baroque ensemble founded in 1983. The first violin comes from the House of Guarneri and is played here by Giuliano Carmignola, considered one of the best violinists in Italy.

A stroke of genius: Grippingly alive instrumental extremely brilliant, musically transparent and colored to the last corner of the score."
Is it still possible after hundreds, perhaps thousands, of live performances and recordings, add something new, or at least different, very well known to Vivaldi's Four Seasons? Although it may seem surprising, you can still, writes Musica. And it shows this beautiful engraving of Sonatori of Gioiosa Marca, an extraordinary group of Treviso, which also present a recording devoted almost entirely to Violin Concertos, always by Vivaldi, and assembled in the program "the humane passions" because of their titles: The favorite, anxiety, suspicion, The loving and pleasure.
As is evident, this episode belongs to that style of music, "descriptive," so dear to some authors of the past, including Vivaldi. In spite of what he said about Stravinsky, Vivaldi "ie that he would have written the same concerto hundreds of times" it is the richness and variety of timbres and rhythms found to distinguish these songs, while in the identical construction scheme and the same processing structure. The merit of Sonatori Treviso, led by violinist Giuliano Carmignola, lies in their execution by Vivaldi, based on ancient instruments and techniques of contemporary compositions.
"As for the recording, it's spacious and not at all overtly "digital" in the negative sense. You will hear richer studio recordings but that's mostly because of the controlled environment. Here you have natural, reflective acoustics.
