This is the re-release of the legendary London CS 6191 with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Peter Maag. The Swiss conducted one of the most memorable recordings of the "Scottish Symphony" in 1960. Also part of the recording is an early composition by Mendelssohn from the age of 21 - the Hebrides Overture. This version is released as a double 45rpm version on 180g vinyl, cut by Bernie Grundman and is limited to 2,500 copies worldwide.
The movement is delivered in a sturdy folding cover and each copy is individually numbered.
