Jean Guillou's interpretation of the toccates and fugues refers to the latest edition of Johann Sebastian Bach's collected works, the Leipzig "New Bach Edition". His innovative and unconventional style accompanies Guillou through his career both as an organist and as a teacher. Through his technical skills and his ability to improvise, he became one of the leading international organists.
Its role model function coupled with in-depth technical know-how enabled the construction of amazing new organs for various European cathedrals and concert halls in theory and design, which expand the potential of the instruments.
